Week 25 &26

 

How far along? 26 weeks 6 days

EDD: 6/3/12

Weight gain/loss:  At my appointment on 2/14/12 I was up 14lbs.

 

Next Ultrasound: Maybe sometime after 30 weeks.

Size of baby: The ticker thing says the size of an eggplant. A chart I looked up says the average fetus at almost 27 weeks is almost 2lbs and about 14.5 inches. Since she already weighed 1lb 11oz almost three weeks ago... I'm betting she weighs over 2 lbs!

Gender: Girl... hmmm.... Maybe we will confirm a name soon! :)

Maternity clothes? Yep... Or really comfy ones :)

Stretch marks: Just the old ones.

Sleep: Well myself and KK have been pretty sick the last few weeks so sleep for awhile was limited to about an hour at a time. KK is now feeling better, wish I could say the same... but we are getting better sleep. Well except for the leg cramps, having to pee and baby girl doing a bogey in my belly at 3am!

Best moment this week: KK is really starting to talk in more sentences and it is amazing the words she knows and the things she says. The other night she had made a mess with her cracker. She was trying to let her daddy know she had made a mess. He told her politely that he didn't care about her mess... KK's reply... "I don't care either daddy!" Too cute :)

Food cravings: Not so much.

Pregnancy Signs: Looking pregnant... from the pic above... I'm going to get huge in the next 12 weeks!

Movement: Yep... she has her calm days and her active days... but if i nudge her just enough she will wiggle for me.

What I miss: So I'm not a big drinker, but for some reason a nice alcoholic beverage sounds good :P

What I am looking forward to: feeling better with this sinus thing and maybe starting to get things together for #2.

 

Weekly Wisdom: Even water can create Heartburn :(   If baby girl were to be born this week without other complications her chance of surival is 90%... good to know :)

Things for Bean :)

Some people have been asking about things that we might need for #2! We have lots of clothes and other things from KK... but there are always things that you need more of or just plan could use. This Amazon registry is just a start... it's ideas... not exact needs and wants. If you plan on getting Bean something here are some ideas...

Week 24~ Flexible Girl

We'll start this week with the few shots we got of her. Just like KK before her, most shots the tech couldn't get because there was always a hand or foot or both in the pic! Here you can see her profile on the right of the pic.

How far along? 24weeks 2days

EDD: 6/3/12

Weight gain/loss:  Not sure, will weigh next week at the visit. But think I'm doing pretty good.

 

Next Ultrasound: ?????

Size of baby: She measured in the 61st percentile today... weighing in at 1lb 11ozs.

Gender: Girl :) See pic above.

Maternity clothes? I got a pair of jeans and one pair of work pants last week. I love the fit of the jeans... wish I could wear them everyday!

Stretch marks: Just the old ones.

Sleep: I'd love some if my arms would stop falling asleep after 10 minutes and leg cramps 10x a night...oh and having a cold where you can't breathe. 

Best moment this week: Seeing baby today and that she is still looking good and baking along.

Food cravings: Not so much.

Pregnancy Signs: hmmm... I look pregnant!

Movement: Yep... can see if from the outside which is always a little creepy. :)  

What I miss: Not much this week.

What I am looking forward to: getting rid of mine and KK's colds.

 

Weekly Wisdom: Cheap Kleenx tissue is never good.

Week 20-23~ oops, someone is slacking :)

How far along? 23weeks 0 days

EDD: 6/3/12

Weight gain/loss:  gain of 14lbs... sounds like alot, but I keep reminding myself I lost 40 before getting pregnant so thats not soooo bad, right? :)

Next Ultrasound: 2-14-12

Size of baby:  Papaya

Gender: Girl :)

Maternity clothes? Yeah... I hope they arrive in the mail soon before I start work so I don't show up in my sweats.

Stretch marks: Just the old ones.

Sleep: I'd love some if my arms would stop falling asleep after 10 minutes. 

Best moment this week: Meeting our new OB. He seems much more laid back than Dr. G. Will be interesting to see if thats good or bad. Also KK has been asking to go pee in the potty... ohhh please be potty trained by May KK! :)

Food cravings: Not so much.

Pregnancy Signs: hmmm... I totally look pregnant this time around...

 

Movement: Yep... and she seems to be more of a mover than KK was.

What I miss: Not much this week.

What I am looking forward to: going to work on monday... well maybe looking forward to that. I've loved staying with KK the last few weeks... we'll see what life brings after this one gets here.

Weekly Wisdom:  Lay down and take a break and drink some water if you think you are going into labor! :)  2nd babies feel heavier and cause a lot more discomfort.

19 weeks~ moving along

Maternity clothes? Yeah... I've got to get me some of those!

Stretch marks:  Just the old ones.

Sleep: Yes please :) I think I'd be sleeping good if it wasn't for the leg cramps and the heartburn.

Best moment this week: Being done with work... 

Food cravings: Not so much this week.

Pregnancy Signs: I've got a belly going already... feel like I look as pregnant now then when I delivered KK. Heartburn has been an issue this week... so bad one night it made my back hurt...uggh!Movement: Yep... but she is still pretty quiet some days.

What I miss:Not much this week.

What I am looking forward to: Getting our move done... Next week this post with come from Hot Springs! :)    

Weekly Wisdom:  Pizza Hut buffett with a slice of apple pie pizza dessert is probably not the best for your blood sugar :P

Week 18~ Hungry Hungry Baby :)

So we had our ultrasound yesterday and got to see ALOT of Bean!!! One of the first things that Bean wanted to show us was that SHE...yes I said SHE... was hungry! She was opening and closing her mouth, sticking her tongue out and licking her placenta... who would have thought placenta tasted good! :) See that big bump thing above her... that's the placenta. So after alot of shots, and measuring and getting her to open her legs... Ultrasound tech Trina said, "I don't see anything wrong with her from an ultrasound prespective." GREAT!!! She was measuring right on time (a few days ahead), heart, kidneys, spine and brain looked good. So it looks as those she is in good shape... and we'll just go with that for now! I will be seeing my new doctor on February 2nd in South Dakota and will see how he wants to continue to monitor this pregnancy. We are happy for a good scan and another little GIRL!!!

How far along? 18 weeks 5 days
EDD: 6/3/12

Weight gain/loss:  Stayed the same from my last appointment on 12/22/11... pretty good for over the holidays! 

Next Ultrasound: Hopefully will know after our next appointment in February.

Size of baby:  Sweet Potato... yummm... sweet potato fries!

Gender: ALL GIRL!!! So my maternal instinct was not that good... maybe I was just hoping for a boy. Over the last week or so though I've been thinking girl... had about three dreams where the baby was a girl!Maternity clothes? Yeah... I've got to get me some of those!

Stretch marks:  Just the old ones.

Sleep: Yes please :)

Best moment this week: Seeing Bean and knowing that she is look'in good! 

Food cravings: Not so much this week.

Pregnancy Signs: Not to many obivious ones... acne, sore boobs and alittle belly.

Movement: Yeppers... I'm pretty sure it's her now :)

What I miss: I guess I never had it, so how can I miss it, but a normal, low stress pregnancy... do they come that way?

What I am looking forward to: Our move. And starting to look forward to seeing KK as a BIG SIS!

With our upcoming ultrasound on the 4th and hopefully finding out "Beans" sex, we need a little help with names.... give it a vote! :)
